Thedailydraw.com Hits Referrers With Viral Push

Free online lottery TheDailyDraw.com is to incentivise users with the chance to win £25,000, if they introduce a friend who then goes on to win a £1 million jackpot.

The offer, due to start on 21 March, will use new technology linking each player with the friends that they have introduced to the site. In return, thedailydraw will request that consumers consent to be shown ads based on the registration data they had provided previously.

Derick Hill, chief customer officer of the site operator PDV, said that the viral push would be "a strong and important tool that would really add value for our players."
