Free Online Lottery Set For Move Into Europe

PDV, the database marketing firm behind online lottery The Daily Draw, is gearing up for an expansion into Europe.

Now that the company has firmly established the concept of providing a free lottery in return for capturing consumer data in the UK, PDV is keen to launch into other European countries.

However, PDV managing director Derick Hill concedes that the firm may have to adapt the concept to accommodate differences in legislation and language. At the same time, the firm is looking to move onto other digital platforms.

Hill confirms: "We are currently working with a number of digital TV companies and mobile telephony phones."

The moves comes as the company prepares to launch a series of other sites like The Daily Draw that offer consumers a reward in return for capturing their data. Among those in the planning stages are a fantasy share site and an online spot the ball competition.
